On Sunday at around 5pm, the gendarmes of the motorized brigade of Mayenne have arrested a motorist who holds a probationary driver’s license, that was travelling at 160 km/h on the RN12, up to Saint-Georges-Buttavent. It should be noted that at this point, the speed limit is 80 km/h.
The driver is 20 years old and a lives at La Ferte-Bernard (Sarthe). Her driving license was withdrawn immediately. The young woman will answer for this offense before the police court shortly with the likely outcome that she will lose all of her 6 points on her license, and be banned from driving.
