More than 500 railwaymen from Caen, Le Havre and Rouen are gathered on the Normandy bridge to show their strong opposition to the railway reform.
At the call of the intersyndical, more than 500 railway workers from Caen, Le Havre and Rouen are gathering, at the moment,on the Normandy bridge, in the preamble of a demonstration to be held in Rouen a little later during the day.

“It is a manifestation in the continuity of previous actions, in the battle of ideas. We want a public service that works, we want a rail revival in France, said Jean-Marie Mutel, general secretary CGT railway workers of Le Havre.”
Currently, railwaymen from Upper Normandy walk to the Lower Normandy coming from Honfleur. They should meet in the middle of the bridge. Traffic is already blocked in the direction Le Havre-Honfleur .
It is advisable for motorists arriving from Le Havre to use the Tancarville bridge to cross the estuary . The blockage should continue until the beginning of the afternoon .
