This earthquake occurred at 9.14pm local time, had a magnitude of 3.7 and its epicenter was between the towns of Sospel and Breil-sur-Roya, Menton in the hinterland, in the automatic readings by the Network of the National earthquake monitoring service (ReNaSS), which are to be confirmed by an analyst.

Firefighters received a few calls but had found an hour later no damage. A magnitude of between 3 and 3.9 corresponds to an earthquake classed as “minor” , felt by the population but not a priority causing structural damage.
