German high mountain guide and his two clients died on Wednesday after being swept away by an avalanche on the Mont-Blanc, confirmed this Thursday at the Haute-Savoie prefecture.
The guide with his clients, a Slovak and an Anglo-Polish, were victims of a fall in the Mont Maudit, culminating at 4,465 meters above sea level, has told AFP the prefecture, confirming a report of France Bleu Pays de Savoie .
An investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.She was assigned to the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon (PGHM) of Chamonix.
