The Talk Talk singer, Mark Hollis, died on Monday 25th February at the age of 64. The information was given on the official Twitter account of the British group The The, formed in 1979 by Matt Johnson.
The performer of the famous “Such a shame” or “It’s my life” died at the age of 64. On Twitter,the official account of the British group Talk Talk has confirmed this information that circulated for several hours on the social network, reaching more than 680 000 tweets. The information was also given by the British daily, The Guardian , citing the tweet tribute of his distant cousin, Anthony Castello.

The British singer was born in August 1955 in London. He was a member of the Talk Talk band as a singer and songwriter from February 1982 to October 1991. With a pop and new wave style, the band has gone through generations.

On his Facebook page the former bassist of the group, Paul Webb, shared his sadness and surprise in discovering the news.
“Musically, he was a genius and it was an honour and a privilege to be in a band with him. I have not seen Mark for many years, but like many musicians of our generation, I have been deeply influenced by his innovative musical ideas. He was one of the greatest, if not the greatest. ”
