Maëva Danois will not be seen again on the track before 2019. The steepleuse licensed at EA Mondeville-Hérouville was seriously injured at the meeting of Oordegem (Belgium), Saturday, May 26th. The verdict is ruthless: complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament. Season ended.
It will take at least six months, probably more, to see Maëva Danois in action. Terrible for the 25-year-old from Normandy, holder of the record of France hopes of the 3000 meters steeple (9: 40.89), vice-champion of Europe hopes in 2015, champion of France Elite in 2017.
