Friday night, an amateur beekeeper aged 58 years old, wanted to render service to the inhabitants of Trémolat, near Bergerac in the Dordogne, trying to recover a swarm of bees installed in a home, recounts Southwest.
Stung while standing on a ladder
The operation performed by the beekeeper took a a dramatic turn for the worse as the man was attacked and stung by the bees while he was on a ladder, trying to recover the swarm. He died on the spot, despite the efforts of Samu and firefighters Bugue who intervened.
