“Francois Hollande will be perfect in the year”, told Madame Figaro  Stéphane Bern, the specialist in royalty. Not only because, as head of state, “he knows how, for five years,” but also because “his hometown and friendly side will work wonderfully. He always has a joke. ”

Couple will Watch Six Nations Match

If the program of the visit provides for however no official commemoration of the death of Lady Diana, the memory of the princess however certainly hover on the journey of William in the French capital. At the time, he was barely 15, and his brother Harry 12 when his mother and her companion Dodi Al-Fayed died in a car accident after a chase with the paparazzi in the tunnel of Alma. As we approach the twentieth anniversary of the death of Diana, William and his wife come for the first time both in Paris.

A move which also marks the will of the princes and their father Charles, heir to the throne, to further assist Queen Elizabeth II, who turns 91 on the 21st April. The British tabloids, little known for their phlegm, criticized the little royal commitments provided by William, in comparison with the energy still deployed by his grandmother. Desiring to fully embrace his royal duties, Prince announced in January that he would abandon his work this summer as a helicopter rescue pilot to concentrate fully on his role of a prince. He, his wife Kate and their two children, George and Charlotte, so soon leave their home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk for their London residence of Kensington Palace. Now the royal couple should make many official visits across the globe. But if the date of their next move in France is not known, it is very likely the next tenant of the Elysee they should meet on that occasion.
