Yesterday, Tuesday morning, an employee of a company has a heavy fall nine meters. He was working on the roof of a business in Niort, to install a new roof with photovoltaic panels, when he fell. This man of 30 years, residing in Vienne, was seriously injured.
He suffers from a cranial and spinal trauma, reports The New Republic. He initially was evacuated to the hospital of Niort before being transported by helicopter to Poitiers. An investigation is now underway to determine the circumstances of the fall. The labor inspectorate is also entering the folder.
