In 2015, the charts have played the youth card. The average age of the five biggest record sellers in France is 30 years. And it would be much lower (23) excepting the senior Francis Cabrel, 62, who advanced to fifth place. Reviewing best sales of the year, according to figures from GFK cabinet (physical and digital sales arrested December 17) by the site PureCharts.fr.
- 1. « Chambre 12 » de Louane
She made people cry or be full of emotion for the viewers of La Famille Bélier taking up Je Vole Sardou. She received for this film the Cesar for Best Female Newcomer. And she is the one who sold the most albums this year. Louane, although only 19 years old, has passed 700,000 sales for her first album Room 12, released in March. Interest in his album was relaunched by the release of a special edition including new unpublished tracks.
- 2. « Kendji » de Kendji Girac
The winner of The Voice has elapsed this year 550,000 copies of his first self-titled album, which included the popular tracks Andalusian and Color Gitano. But the young singer, also 19 years old, has the luxury of having sold 345,000 copies of his second album, Together, published two months ago, the sixth best selling in 2015.

Only international artist of the Top 5, the British singer, Adele, aged 27, broke records this year. The French responded to the call of the song Hello and since the end of November, 560,000 copies of her third album, 25, have been sold.
- 4. « Chaleur Humaine » de Christine and the Queens
La Chaleur humaine by Heloise Letissier, aka Christine & The Queens, warmed many hearts this year. Released in early 2014, so this album has been out the longest over the others. 540,000 copies have been sold since its launch, including 380,000 this year. After seducing France, the singer originally from Nantes has attacked the US market in recent months by adapting some of her hits in English.
- 5. « In Extremis » de Francis Cabrel
Its success is as great as it is discreet. Francis Cabrel, the quiet strength of French song, did not have to engage in a promotional marathon in the media to convince. His album In Extremis culminates currently in 360,000 sales.
The five following best Albums sales are Master Gims (340,000 copies); Calogero (290,000 copies), Enfoirés (280,000 copies) and the last album of Johnny Hallyday (eg 255.000). The rankings can still change again with the last minute Christmas shopping.
