Successfully operated at Methodist Hospital of Indiana University, Sébastien Bourdais has given some news in the aftermath of the terrible accident he suffered during qualifying for the Indianapolis 500.

He has suffered multiple fractures to the pelvis and right hip.

“I want to thank everyone for the support and received messages, some drivers also passed. It will take time but I feel pretty good since the operation. I will return, even if I still do not know when”  said the French driver from the Sarthe region,  which probably will draw a line under his 2017 season.
