The storm Miguel is expected from the morning of Friday 7th June 2019, and Météo France has placed eight departments in an orange alert: it is the Charente-Maritime, the Indre, the Indre-et-Loire, the Loire -Atlantic, Maine-et-Loire, Deux-Sèvres, Vendée and Vienne.
Almost the entire country is in yellow alert, with the exception of Northeast and Southeast.

Unusual storm
This phenomenon, described as a “moderate but unusual intensity storm at this time of the year” by the weather organization, should be accompanied by gusts of wind at 110 or 120 km / h on the coast, and up to at 110 km / h in the land.
