An Exhibition of Playmobil on Ancient Civilizations can be Seen Currently in Calais

Relive the history of ancient civilizations through exposure Playmobil® installed until Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Gambetta Calais Forum (Pas-de-Calais).

Now, to Calais (Pas-de-Calais) , trace ancient times through the exhibition “Playmobil, the record expo” , installed until Sunday, January 7, 2018 , the Forum Gambetta.

The great ancient civilizations (Rome, Egypt)

The huge exhibition of Playmobil (3rd edition), is divided into four stagings. The City of Calais says there:

A total of 150 000 units, of which 32,000 figurines, 280 Roman warships and Egyptians, the Nile, the pyramids … on a surface of 450 m2.

In the program :

  • The construction of the pyramids (slave route on the Nile stones used to build the pyramids, under the supervision of Egyptian soldiers);
  • The Battle of Zama (140 combat elephants and tribes Hannibal against the Roman forces of Scipio);
  • The battle of Philippi (a confrontation between Roman legions 40);
  • The Exodus of the Hebrews pursued by Pharaoh and 500 Egyptian tanks.

Exhibition Playmobil installed right now and until Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Gambetta Calais Forum.
Free admission. Open from 10am to 7pm daily, except Monday 1 January 2018, from 2pm to 6pm. Further information on the official website of the city of Calais .
Tips: parking Life-center of Calais Heart for free on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 December 2017, and Saturday 6 and Sunday, 7 January 2018 (8 am to 8pm).
