Two French tourists died whilst diving and snorkeling on a popular site of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
For its part, the Cairns Post reports that the man and the older woman of about sixty years were with a third French diver near Michaelmas Cay, a sandy island surrounded by reefs, about forty kilometres off Cairns in Queensland.
Passions of Paradise of employees, the company that organized their dive, saw their body floating on the surface, announced its CEO Scotty Garden.
Medical history
“The Passions of Paradise lookout posted on the beach saw a man floating on the surface and brought him back on to the sand and attempted resuscitation. He was then assisted by a doctor, “said Mr Garden in a statement.
“The lookout who was on the boat saw a woman floating on the surface and brought her back on the catamaran where CPR was also practiced. A troi SIEME person was later a medical problem, but he survived “, he added.
The man and the dead woman, who belonged to a group of 21 people on a catamaran company had “a medical history and were accompanied in the water by an instructor,” said Mr Garden.
Probably an accident
