Weather Warning: Heavy rains are expected from midnight in Ariège which has been placed on orange alert by Meteo France
Heavy storms from Spain will burst in the night from Monday to Tuesday on the ridges of the Pyrenees leading to heavy rainfall on the French side. The largest quantities of rain are expected in Ariège that Meteo France has decided to place in orange vigil “rain-flood”.
The phenomenon should start at midnight and continue until 4 pm Tuesday. Anticipated rainfall totals could reach 50 to 80 litres per m2 or even 100 litres on ridges.

The authorities advise to inquire before any trip, to follow the recommended deviations and never to engage on a submerged way.
The departments of Haute-Garonne and Hautes-Pyrénées are placed on yellow alert.
