The American giant plans to develop, for the first time in the West, a seventh logistic sdepot.
According to The Telegram , no less than 120,000 m2 of land have been sold to a Parisian promoter, for always limited time. On Amazon’s side, it is essentially a matter of “continuing to weave its web of giant warehouses and transport bases” in order to continue its growth in France.
1,500 positions at the key
Questioned by us, Yves Daniel, deputy of the 6th district of the Loire-Atlantique, raises part of the veil:

A total of 1,500 jobs could be created within this new platform.
As a reminder, the first platform of the e-commerce leader was born in 2007, in Saran (Loiret) . Four others had come out of the ground a few years later in Montélimar (Drôme) , Sevrey (Saône-et-Loire) , Lauwin-Planque (North) and Amiens (Somme) .
As for the sixth, it should open in a few weeks in Brétigny-sur-Orge , a suburb of Paris.
