Sixty sports stars, both current and retired, including the footballer Blaise Matuidi (Paris SG) or Olympic champions Yannick Agnel, Lucie Decosse Laura Flessel and David Douillet, have signed an appeal to vote for Emmanuel Macron “for that sport remains a area of freedom, equality and fraternity “.

“Therefore, in these troubled and uncertain times, we call to vote for the only candidate that is in compliance with the republican tradition in our country: Emmanuel Macron” .
Twenty Olympic medalists, including many judoka and Olympic champion Philippe Rozier riding are among the signatories, along with former players of the XV of France Pierre Villepreux and Philippe Saint-Andre.
This call is also signed by many leaders (coaches, presidents of federations, doctors) including Christian Prudhomme, the director of the Tour de France, Frédéric Thiriez, former president of the Professional Football League (LFP) and Denis Masseglia, President the National Olympic and sports Committee (CNOSF), signed individually.
