Due to strong winds up to 70 to 80 km/h, the Mayenne department is the subject of an orange alert.
Meteo France placed the department of Mayenne in orange Alert for strong winds. According to the forecaster, the wind will strengthen with gusts to 70 to 80 km/h at noon and up to 100 110 km/h or higher later in the afternoon. This phenomenon will affect the entire department until about 7 pm according to the prefecture.

“The power cuts and telephone can affect the distribution networks for relatively long periods”, ahead of its website the Prefecture of Mayenne. The latter does not exclude the risk of disruption of electricity supply and telephone networks, road traffic and the secondary network in the forest zone.
