Five members of the French Council of the Muslim Faith will meet the Pope at the Vatican on the 3rd November according to information France Bleu Gard Lozère.
Members of the collective leadership of the Executive Board, the President, the three Vice-Presidents and Secretary General, Abdallah Zekri, will be received in private audience by Pope Francis.
This meeting was organized with the French cardinals to strengthen inter-religious dialogue.The French cardinals particularly informed the French Council of the Muslim Faith that the Pope had appreciated the institution’s positions in the murder of Father Hamel on the 26th July in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray by two terrorists claiming to Daech.
The members of the French Council of the Muslim Faith will travel from 2 November in Rome for a reception with the ambassador of France in Rome. On November 3, they will meet with the Cardinal in charge of relations with Islam and the Vatican at midday, in private audience with Pope Francis.
