One out of five French (21%) wants President Francois Hollande in the presidential election of 2017, against 77% who do not wish him to stand for re-election, according to a poll for Le Parisien Odoxa / i TELE .  And 2% have no opinion on the subject.

This study, although very bad for the President, shows a slight improvement for the head of state since October 2014, when there were only 15% of people wishing for him to stand for a second presidential term.

54% of supporters on the left are against the idea of candidate Holland

Within his own party, 54% of his leftist sympathizers do not want Francois Hollande to stand as a candidate again (with 46% in favour).  On the right of his party, there are 90% who does not want the head of state to start in the presidential race in 2017.

On the other hand, 58% of French share the idea that “Francois Hollande is already campaigning for the presidential election of 2017”. 41% take the opposite view (1% undecided).

Survey conducted on 21 and 22 May with a sample of French surveyed by internet.Method of quotas.
