Someone has won 36 million Euros in France on the Euromillions lottery

Someone has won more than 36 million euros at the EuroMillions on Tuesday 19th June, becoming the first winner of the Hexagon this year in the continental lottery, said Wednesday by La Française des Jeux (FDJ), which is still waiting until he or she manifests.

Last year, three French won the EuroMillions.

60 days to make yourself known

This person won € 36,158,964 in the draw of June 19th, the FDJ told AFP. It has “60 days from the date of the draw” to appear with the FDJ, which will communicate the city and the name of the point of sale after payment of the gain.

The record of EuroMillions has been held since 27 October 2014 by a Portuguese, who had pocketed 190 million euros, and by a couple of British, who had won in 2012 the same amount, the ceiling provided by the game.



In France, the biggest gain, 170 million euros, was pocketed in November 2012 in the Alpes-Maritimes.
