The rise continues at the pump. According to official figures released on Monday, fuel prices sold at French petrol stations continued to climb last week.

The price of a litre of diesel fuel, the best-selling fuel in France with about 80% of volumes, was worth on average 1.4059 euros, up 0.94 cents, according to data published by the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Solidarity.

The liter of unleaded petrol 95 (SP95) stood at 1.4909 euros, up 0.64 cents. That of unleaded containing up to 10% ethanol (SP95-E10) was worth 1.4715 euro, up 0.65 centime.


Oil price

Finally, the unleaded 98 (SP98) reached 1.5554 euro per liter, having taken 0.64 centime.

Fuel prices vary according to oil prices, the euro-dollar exchange rate, the level of petroleum product stocks, the evolution of taxes and the demand side.
