Thirty activists blocked, access to Societe Generale, place de la République, at Le Mans. Denouncing its “policy of evasion organized.”
At the call of the association, Attac, thirty demonstrators at around 9am, occupied the lobby of the Societe Generale bank at place de la République, in Le Mans. The action is supported by the protestors of #Nuitdebout and other associations. It is alleged that “the policy of tax evasion is organized” by the French bank and to “demand that the government has the means to prohibit and control”, after the revelations of the banks involvement in the Panama papers.
The activists hung placards outside the agency where one can read in particular: “ because of tax evasion, blocked bank.”
