It’s the Holidays, Children will not be Bored in Cholet

On vacation, children rarely lack ideas to care. Here are some for the parents, in and around Cholet …

Six short weeks are over, children are again on leave. At their disposal in Cholet, free amenities such as parks gambling city, the skate park and other sports fields, the toy library, the library … and a choice of paid activities such as swimming pools, ice rink and cinema.  Other activities in and around cholet are :
Workshops Making felt.  water, soap, elbow grease and a little wool. That’s what’s happening at the felt factory! Guided by the creative Hasta Laina, children experience the art and create using felt.  Thursday 7th and April 14th at the Museum of Textiles, Docteur Roux Street. Leather work.  The Museum of shoes and trades offers workshops for children: Little Shoe (for ages 6-11) and Little Maroquiniers (for 11- 14). Little Shoemakers, Tuesdays the 5th and 12th April and Thursdays the 7th and 14th April between 2.30pm and 4pm.  Children will be spend the time making a sandal in leather. Price: € 4 per child, reservations required. tel 02 41 46 35 65.  The P’tits Maroquiniers will be on Wednesday 6th and 14th April between 2.30pm and 4pm and will be producing a leather purse. Price: € 6 per child, reservations required.
My little menagerie.  Swans, lions, a centaur … A real wildlife lurks in the works of the Art Gallery … Yes, but where? At the Museum of Art and History, Avenue de l’Abreuvoir.  There will also be a guided tour for children between 3 and 6 years old on Friday 8th April at 3 pm.  Free admission for the children.  For more information, telephone : 02 72 77 23 22.
Semianyki Express.  The Semianyki, a family of Russian clowns, landed in St. Louis theatre with Semianyki Express. In life, it’s a group of friends who know each other for over a decade. Saturday, April 2, at 8.30 pm, at St. Louis theatre. prices from 11 € to 23 €.

Carnival and Musical entertainment  The centre gets the rhythm of carnival with plenty of musical entertainment. Saturday from 3pm. Free access. On Sunday there will be the Carnival parade.  The day will show the fifteen coloured floats and musicians starting from the station to the hall. Sunday from 2.30pm to 6pm. Free access.
